BIAS BINDING – a narrow band of fabric used to finish and/or decorate the edges of garments. Bias binding is cut on the bias, meaning that it more easily follows the curve of a fabric edge without rippling. It’s great for piping and edging seams in all sorts of projects with a curved edge, such as arm holes, necklines, sleeves, quilts, jackets and bags.
