Working with Sherpa Fleece
When sewing sherpa fleece, use a ballpoint or stretch needle to glide through the knit backing without snagging. A walking foot helps feed the thick, fluffy pile evenly, preventing shifting or stretching. Overlock or zigzag seams to reduce bulk, and keep a lint roller handy - sherpa does shed a little when cut, but it’s well worth it for the snuggly results.
