High Low Jumbo Corduroy Fabric - Hazel

This gorgeous jumbo corduroy comes in a warm hazel brown that’s easy to wear and even easier to sew with. Made from 100% cotton, it has that classic soft, ribbed texture you want from a good cord, with a bold high-low wale that gives it loads of character.

It’s a generous width and a lovely trouser-weight, so it has enough substance for pieces that need a bit more structure. Think relaxed trousers, cosy jackets, pinafores or a favourite winter skirt. It’s also sturdy enough for accessories like tote bags or cushions if you want to bring that textured look into your home.

The hazel brown is a wonderfully versatile shade - warm, earthy and simple to pair with lots of colours. It looks lovely teamed with creams, denim blues, forest greens or deep berry tones - and because it's cotton, it’s breathable, comfortable and easy to care for.

A few sewing tips: use a slightly longer stitch length so your machine glides nicely over the ribs, and press from the wrong side to protect the pile. If you’re matching ribs on seams, take a little extra time with your cutting layout - it makes a big difference to the final look.
