Indian Silk Dupion Fabric - Apricot

A 100% silk dupion fabric in a soft apricot pink-peach shade, woven on traditional hand-looms in India. The hand-woven process gives this cloth its characteristic irregular slub texture, with subtle variations that make each length feel alive and individual.

Crisp and lightweight with a firm, structured handle, this pure silk dupion behaves much like a silk taffeta, holding its shape beautifully. It responds especially well to pleats, darts and sculptural gathers, while still remaining light enough for fitted bodices and tailored silhouettes.
