High Low Jumbo Cord Fabric - Seal

This high-quality jumbo corduroy in a rich seal-grey is a superb choice if you’re after something a little different yet still wonderfully wearable. With its pronounced high-low wale (rib), the fabric lends a strong visual and tactile texture, giving your finished project personality and structure.

Made from 100% cotton, this corduroy offers a comfortable, breathable feel while having sufficient weight to carry tailored pieces beautifully. The seal-grey hue is a sophisticated neutral - cooler than a brown, warmer than a charcoal - making it exceedingly versatile. It partners beautifully with creams, dusty pinks, mustard yellow, navy or forest green. Because it’s cotton, it’s practical too: easier to care for and soft to wear.

When sewing with this corduroy, we'd recommend using a slightly longer stitch length so your machine handles the ribs smoothly. Press from the wrong side to keep the pile looking clean and avoid flattening the texture. If you’re working with side seams or ribs that you’d like to match, give yourself a little extra fabric and take your time with layout.
