Ordering & Delivery

How do I place an order?
You can order online 24/7 through our website, or call us on 01872 222130 during opening hours (Mon–Sat 9am–5:30pm) to place an order over the phone.

What is the minimum fabric cut?
Our minimum cut is 20cm for dressmaking fabrics and 50cm for home furnishing fabrics. After this, we sell fabric in increments of 10cm.

Do you offer free delivery?
Yes — we offer free standard UK delivery on all orders over £50. Orders under £50 are charged at a flat rate. See our Delivery & Returns page for full details.

Do you ship internationally?
We currently deliver within the UK only. We are unable to ship overseas at this time.

Can I collect in store?
Yes, you can choose Click & Collect at checkout and pick up your order from our Truro store free of charge.

Fabric & Swatches

Can I order a fabric swatch before buying?
Yes — on most fabric product pages you will see an "Add sample to your basket" button. Swatches are approximately 10cm × 5cm and are neatly labelled with all fabric information. See our Fabric Swatch Service page for full details.

Can I visit the shop to see fabrics in person?
Absolutely — we welcome you to visit us at Calenick Street, Truro, TR1 2SF. Our shop and web stock are not always identical, so if you are looking for a specific fabric seen online, please call ahead to check availability.

Do you offer wholesale quantities?
We are a small independent retailer and do not offer wholesale pricing. If you need 10 or more metres of a fabric, please contact us to discuss available stock.

Returns & Payments

Can I return cut fabric?
Unfortunately, cut fabric cannot be returned or exchanged as it is a bespoke cut. We strongly recommend ordering a swatch first to check colour, weight, and texture before committing to a larger quantity.

Can I pay later or in instalments?
Yes — we offer Klarna's Pay Later (30 days) and Pay in 3 (interest-free instalments) at checkout for online orders. See our Pay Later with Klarna page for more information.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Klarna online. In store we accept cash and card.
