At our fabric shop in Truro, we are proud to serve as a convenient drop-off point for a trusted local sewing machine servicing workshop. Whether you own a sewing machine or overlocker from any brand, our service ensures your machine receives expert care, keeping it running smoothly for years to come.

What We Offer

All Brands Serviced
We accept machines from all major brands including Brother, Janome, Singer, Pfaff, and more — from routine maintenance to complex repairs.

Thorough Service
Every service includes cleaning, lubrication, electrical testing, timing adjustments, and a full sew test to ensure your machine is performing at its best.

Regular Collection
Machines are collected from our Truro shop every two weeks on a Monday for servicing at the workshop. You will be notified when your machine is ready for collection.

Quick Turnaround
Most repairs are completed within 14 days. You will be notified if additional time is required, and any extra parts or repairs will always be communicated before work begins.

Costs & Drop Off

A £5 booking fee is required when dropping off your machine at our Truro shop. Full payment is due upon collection, with prices starting at £50 depending on the complexity of the work required.

What to bring:
Please bring your machine's power cable and foot pedal, a compatible bobbin and needle for testing, and original packaging if available.

Just like a car, sewing machines and overlockers perform best with regular maintenance. Manufacturers often recommend annual servicing for machines used daily — proactive care prevents costly issues and prolongs the life of your machine.
